Aloha! Thank you for visiting my website's Making Your Photo Selection and Editing Procedures page.
I created this page to help guide you through the following steps after your photo session.
At the end of your session, you receive an SD card with your unedited JPEG files or proofs without any watermark.
To transfer the files, PC users can access their SD card by going to "My Computer" and selecting the drive representing the SD card. Once your computer recognizes the SD card, Mac users will see the files on your desktop. Open the folder and drag the files to your desired location.
Please avoid using automated upload software as it may give you the wrong file numbers, which must match my file numbers.
When sending me an image selection for editing, please include the full file name, ensuring that they are in numerical order, and avoid attaching the actual files to the email.
Once you have reviewed your proofs, you can add photo retouching to your selected images. If your package includes editing, email me the image numbers for the files you would like edited, along with any special instructions.
I will then edit the selected images and send them to you electronically via Dropbox, ready for printing up to 24x36.
Please note that the SD card is formatted for a Canon Camera and is viewable on any Canon Camera, Mac Computer, Windows Computer, and iPad with an SD Card attachment. If your device does not have an SD card slot, you can purchase an SD Card reader from Amazon.
Most packages include Level Two Editing, but before submitting your image selections for editing, take a moment to review what Level Two Editing entails. I also offer Level Three Editing if you want more done to your images. See Photo Retouching for more information.
I recommend making a copy of the images on the SD card to ensure your images are safe. Please note that there is a $75 image replacement fee if you lose your SD Card.
